2016-17 SIGN-UP MEETING DATES:
- Tuesday, March 14, 2017
- Tuesday, March 28, 2017
- Tuesday, April 18, 2017
- Tuesday, May 2, 2017
Additional meetings are held at other various locations. Contact EDUStaff at 1-877-974-6338 for the dates and times.
One of the requirements to substitute teach is being fingerprinted for a criminal history record check by the Michigan State Police and FBI. VBISD completes the fingerprinting for subs and is the record holder of your criminal history record check. If you need to be fingerprinted for substitute teaching, contact Barbara Coombs at 269-539-5206 to set up an appointment. The fee to process the fingerprinting is currently $55 and must be paid with cash or check.
Even though you may have previously been fingerprinted, you will need to be printed again if you have not had regular and continuous employment (without a break in service) with a K-12 Michigan School District since you were fingerprinted. For subs you need to have worked as a sub each school year since being fingerprinted.
