This training is designed to aid school personnel in understanding the importance of identifying the function of student behavior, determining the function of problem behaviors, and understanding the steps of basic Functional Behavior Assessments for students whose behavior has not been adequately addressed through previous assessment and intervention. With a focus on students who engage in high frequency, non-dangerous behavior, the goal of this training is to increase the number of individuals within the school setting who can utilize effective, function-based Positive Behavioral Support Plans.
This training is recommended for individuals with beginning or intermediate knowledge on behavior.
There is no cost for this session and SCECHs will be available. Contact Jennifer Korinek at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
