Meet Zoe Pierce, a 2024 Paw Paw High School graduate and a third-year student in the Cosmetology program at Van Buren Tech! Zoe’s passion for beauty is infectious and she’s all about uplifting her fellow students while getting real-world salon experience.
"I love the teachers and the friends I’ve made! We’re motivated to grow and help one another," Zoe says. Her excitement for cosmetology shines through as she prepares for a future filled with creativity and entrepreneurship.
This year, she’s leveling up her game by transitioning from the Harvey House front desk to her boss's assistant, shadowing a stylist, and honing her skills with clients. By summer 2025, you’ll find her taking clients on the salon floor!
What does Zoe love most about her program? Everything from haircuts to facials! Known for her fabulous blowout styles, she thrives in the ever-evolving world of beauty. "It's never boring!" she beams.
Zoe is not just about looking good—she’s also considering taking classes at KVCC for her Associates in Business, with the ultimate dream of owning her own salon one day.
With a professional all-black dress code and exciting events like the recent Redken meet-up (where she got inspired by an influencer who said, “The future is in the youth”), Zoe is on a journey to broaden her horizons in cosmetology.
